You tell me Justin Beiber is not a girl, I'll believe that :P But this... Can you believe that - the English language was not originated  in Britain. I repeat, the very same language which every dick and harry proudly speaks in this country was not originated here.

It was actually some invaders from Germany that brought this language here. Watch this video. If any normal person can understand at least one word from the reading, then I'd send you a 100 quids.

English from this form had underwent many changes across the centuries. Invasions and expansions have played a key role in the evolution of the language. Again this video would give you a decent idea as to how it evolved to this stage.

English ain't originally British. During the transition stages, there were a lot of contributions from various others. So it ain't British at that stage either. Now, its the language that's been spoken all through out the world. Fluently and non- fluently. So it isn't British now either. So how does English become British?
